Update....

I made these over the last couple days.

This layout is of the bridge that is near our house. It is one of the biggest
landmarks of Washington State. This page is for a Scenic Route contest at
Create My Keepsake. I cut off the edges of the layout to go with the
flow of the arrows.
I created this using the new Mellow line by Basic Grey. It
is also using the sketch from their August newsletter. I used one
of the stips of paper to point to where my daughter is in the picture.

I created this layout for a contest at Create My Keepsake as well. I also
used Rita Marie and Company paper and stamp as well as Tin Box Creations stamps (alphabet).

I used Luxe Desings for this card. I also used Tin Box Creations stamps.

So UPSET....

I LOST ALL MY EMAILS!

How much does that suck? My computer shut down for no reason then when I started it back up the only emails I had in my outlook express was sent mail. I think my hard drive is about to crash. A couple months ago my computer would not even load and then it just worked. Through talking with Ryan - my computer genius friend - we figured out that back then it was saying that part of the hard drive was corrupt. But then it just started working so I did not think about it. NOW, I am looking for a new hard drive.

LUCKILY I have my laptop in case something really bad happened to my computer but it just really sucks that I lost all my email. Also LUCKILY I signed up for Gmail and have been switching my email address over to Gmail the last couple weeks so a lot of my recent emails are in my Gmail account.

Well, that is all for now. I have a cool ideas I got in my head while at the store today...I jotted them down and I am going to work in my scrap room tonight :-)

Easy week....

This week has seemed to be pretty easy even though its a rare week where my husband doesnt have a single day off. I have been getting a lot done :-)

I made this layout just to use up older supplies. I HAD to have this Urban Lilly paper that is so darn cute and I had not used it until now! The tag (100% Quality) came off a pair of jeans.

These layouts using Scenic Route is for a contest at Create My Keepsake. The contest theme is to scrapbook your street/town/city.

I wanted to keep this page simple, and just focus on the picture.

**no your not crazy....a layout right here was deleted because it is going to be published...If you came back for inspiration from that layout I am sorry**

I made this panoramic picture last September, finally using it :-)

These are for Tin Box Creations. I used the stamp sets
Everyday (alphabet), Explore and, Romeo.

Techniques:
* Stamp image on a piece of paper over and over again, then trace letters and cut out. I did this with the word “WORLD.” I first stamped the paper with the map stamp and cut the words out from that. I went around the edges with a black sharpie to bring out the letters on the light background paper.

Techniques:
* I placed the letters (from the Everyday alphabet stamp set) on an acrylic block the way I wanted it, to line them up I put a piece of small grid paper under the acrylic block and used the grids to help line up the letters.
*To make the angel (from the Romeo stamp set) face the opposite direction then the stamp sets I stamped the image on a transparency and flipped it around so the arrow would be facing to the right instead of to the left.

Techniques:
* I first stamped the back of the tags with the map stamp using Staz-on ink. I did this so I could still use Black ink on the front of the tag and not have the map design and my words mesh into each other. This way the map is faded and the words on the front of the tags are readable.
* I embossed the words on the front of the tag. Both words from the explore stamp set.
* after stamping and embossing the compass image I used an H2O pen and added

I made this last night....

That has been the title of more then one post...hahaha

I LOVE visiting blogs, I just set up GoogleReader to follow RSS feeds, so I will be able to visit blogs more often, as it will notify me when someone updates. Speaking of visiting blogs, I got over eighty visits earlier this week. WOW. I will make sure to post inspiration more frequently for you guys :-)

I have created 6 pages over the last three days. This is the only one I have taken a picture of yet.

I used American Crafts for this layout. I scrapbooked on top of a divider that Cropper Hopper uses for their paper storage system. Everything is on top of the divider except for the background paper (with circles on it) that is behind. I layered flowers and put them on top of the cut flower and added a couple more cut flowers and vines from the American Crafts paper. I used thickers for the title, and stickers for the word Pink, adding the word inside of an American Crafts rub-on. I also added a rub-on in the upper right corner. I cut a circle out of the thickers for the small flower and a circle out of the background paper for the small white flower. I used staz-on in pad to edge the entire layout.

This will be an exciting month on Blogger :-)

I have a lot of plans for this month. School ends in a couple days so I have a little over a month of extra time. Watch for lots of layouts to be posted and a big change in my blog, as well as my photography website.

Check out the current issue (Aug/Sept) of Paper Trends, I have a project published.

I leave with a picture of my little man...
