My recent creations

I cant post everything I recently created but I can post these :-)

Madisons first scrapbook page :-)

I let Madison scrapbook with me the other day. She did not loose interest at all, she scrapbooked for over an hour. I recently bought her a pair of Fiskars Kids scissors and she cut her hair with them. She got them taken away but I let her use them only when she is scrapbooking with me.

Here is her page.

It SNOWED today....a lot

It was so much fun taking pictures of the snow at so many different angles and working on my composition. Oh and also taking pictures of the kids in the snow....four memory cards full of pictures actually :-)

Here is one I post-processed quickly to post. You would think that with all the heavy snow I would go to my room and scrapbook...no I went out with the crazy road conditions, slipped and slid my way, with the help of traction control, to a place that had lots to photograph. Here is one of those pictures.

Here is a page very dear to me.

Journaling:
A mother makes sacrifices and important decisions everyday for her children. When I found myself pregnant at sixteen my responsibilities as a mother began. The idea of adoption scared me; I could not imagine giving my own child up knowing a bond would be created during my pregnancy. I wanted my daughter to have a great life with parents able to care for her in every way and to have every opportunity available to her. I, as a mother, made the biggest sacrifice. I put my feelings, desires, and insecurities aside and gave my daughter up for adoption. When I was in the hospital, after giving birth, a nurse told me I had given the family that adopted my child the greatest gift. Now many years later I realize at the same time I was giving my daughter the greatest gift.

Inspiration from last night...

I did a lot of scrapbooking yesterday and really like what I designed. Here are two of the pages I did for contests on Create My Keepsake and A Peek into Yesterday. I created a page of baby Cory sucking on his two fingers...BUT...I think I am going to save the page for HOF. I will however post the picture :-)

Here is my recent picture of Cory, he always has these two fingers in his mouth, it is funny.

Finally took pictures of my Christmas Album

I made this album last year, and love it. I finally took pictures of it the other day.

This album is unique because it is made out of Bazzills' Really Big Chipboard Letters. The album is about our Christmas traditions and the letters spell out TRADITIONS. Each two page of the album is a new letter.

Cory had to leave for two weeks :-(

Since Cory had to go to San Diego for two weeks I have been on the computer even more than normal...hard to believe. I have been processing pictures from RAW and getting ready for a huge order to the print shop. I want to have my pictures by the time Cory gets back and I have a 3 day scrapbooking marathon in my scrap room...care to join me :-)

The kids are driving me nuts and the more I spend online the more money I spend but other than that it is actually going o.k.

Here is one of my favorite pictures I took during our Halloween pumpkin carving session. The girls were looking in their pumpkins and each others and I was able to get some great shots. I tried to get them to be more posed after the initial excitement of the candles being lit BUT you know how toddlers are...that was not going to happen.

Recent Pages

I took pictures of my recent pages....

Although i have not finished the journaling on this page, I posted it because I love this little emu. He came into my window at the Wild Animal Park (drive-thru).

I love this page, Madison loves her little siser but they do bug eachother. When I heard Madison one day tell Brooke "stop talking your ruining my ears" I knew I had to scrapbook it :-)

My free spirited Brookie

Madison looked so cute after her first haircut...I was really happy with what the stylist did.

Madison and Brookes favorite place to go to at Sea World was the starfish. I know that they miss it now that we living in Washington.

always creating :-)
