Geocaching Update

We went Geocaching the other day and searched for three of them. We found two!!!

Karen Russells' Class

I had the chance to go to Karen Russells' (Creative Imaginations) class at a scrapbook store near me. It was called Scrapping outside the box.

Her class was amazing...if you ever get a chance to take a class from Karen do so, you will not regret it :-) She is fun to listen to and offered lots of great information, tips, and resources along with the two items we made in the class...all in three hours!!!

I plan on attending all the classes she offers in the future :-)

First Geocache

Brooke had her doctor appointment on the 4th at Childrens Hospital Seattle. We decided to Geocache in between appointments. We found this one called Bouncing down the stairs that was near the hospital and looked like it was good for kids.

We walked there (about .40 of a mile) with both kids and baby Cory in the stroller. We told the girls we were going on a treasure hunt :-)

When we got there we looked around and found the treasure!!! The kids each picked out a toy and we left a couple dollars and some band-aids and stickers from the hospital :-)

New Years resolution

This last week our challenge for Scrappin With Grace was to create a page showing one thing we would like to change in 2007...

Here is my page. (I made it to the next round)



Journaling: One thing I would like to change about myself in 2007 is to help Cory more with the house work. Until recently Cory would leave for very long periods of time so when he was home he would do all the laundry, cleaning, cooking, dishes, everything. It has now become routine for Cory to do it all. Now that Cory is home and on shore duty I would like to have a balance of house work between us. I know it would be more fair and Cory would like the help.
