Journaling:
There is a special bond between Madison and Brooke. I don’t know if it is because they are so close in age but I hope this special connection last a lifetime. The interaction i get to see between these sisters everyday is amazing. When Madison goes to school Brooke is so cute, she says she needs Madison and wants her to come home. Madison is such a good big sister to Brooke. When Brooke gets into trouble she is very concerned and even trys to calm Brooke down when she gets upset. My favorite experience of their special bond that I have seen so far was when Brooke was in the hospital to have her kidney removed. Although Brooke had not seen me or Madison for a whole day when we walked into the door to see Brooke she did not even know I was there. She saw Madison and her eyes lit up and her sadness from being in the hospital that I could see on her face was gone. Brooke ran across the room and gave Madison a big hug. As she ran to her she was yelling "Madison, Madison." Brooke did not want to leave her side after that and kept saying she wanted to go home with Madison. As Brooke gets older and is more able to play on the same level as Madison I like to just stand outside their bedroom door and listen to them talk to each other. Madison takes on the role of big sister including being bossy at times. Whenever Brooke gets treats or snacks she always makes sure she gets one to give to Madison. Even though sometimes Madison gets the cookie with a bite missing. I love to see how thoughtful they are to each other. There is a special bond developing between those two beautiful girls. A bond that will last a lifetime and that I am lucky to see.
